How Does it Work?

Here at SHARE: Flitwick and Ampthill we want to make your leisure time easier and cheaper. Borrow – don’t buy – what you need for that DIY task, party or camping trip (and much more!) and enjoy saving money as well as space in your home. Our inventory is expanding all the time. Please let us know if we don’t currently stock something that you’d be interested in borrowing.

To borrow something, simply:

• Sign up as a member of SHARE: Flitwick and Ampthill (from Browse Items page) and/or make sure you’re logged in
• Find the item(s) that you want to borrow, check that they’re available when you’d like to borrow them and then reserve them. Alternatively, just pop in to see us and we can help with this.
• Visit The Rufus Centre to pick them up and return them on the dates that you’ve chosen (please bring proof of ID and address on your first visit)
• Enjoy using the item!
• Please try to return the item that you borrowed in as good – or better – condition than when you borrowed it. We love feedback so please let us know how you got on. If there were any problems or there’s anything else that we should know then please tell us so that we can continue to learn and fix anything before lending it to someone else.
